Auburn unanimous No. 1 in latest Top 25 poll

Auburn is the unanimous No. 1 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday while Michigan State and Houston both made leaps into the top 10.

The Tigers (17-1) received all 62 first-place votes and are trailed by Duke (16-2), Iowa State (15-2), and fellow SEC teams Alabama (15-3) and Florida (16-2) in the top five.

Tennessee (16-2) remains at No. 6, followed by the Cougars (14-3), Spartans (16-2), Kentucky (14-4) and Marquette (15-3), which dropped three spots to No. 10.

No. 25 Louisville (14-5) is back in the poll for the first time in four years. At No. 20, St. John’s (16-3) has its highest ranking since December 2014. Missouri (No. 22) and West Virginia (No. 23) are also back in the poll.

Gonzaga, Georgia, Baylor and Utah State fell out of the poll.
